Life Before Thomas Jefferson High School

This will be my second year at TJ and my sixth year teaching! I’m originally from the Washington DC area and taught in different parts of Virginia as an English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) and Spanish teacher before moving to Colorado. Before I was a teacher, I worked for a non-profit that worked in Latin America and the Caribbean. I’ve lived abroad in Madrid, Spain and all around the United States – Virginia, Washington DC, Missouri, New Mexico, and now Colorado. I’ve been to 40 states and 11 countries. I love languages, reading, writing, music, and spending time with my family.
